Mentorship, Vision, and Heart-Centered Growth

As we step into 2026, January offers a natural pause to reflect, clarify, and set thoughtful intentions for the months ahead. Through reflection and discernment about what aligns with my soul purpose, and what is no longer serving my highest good, I recognized that my volunteer commitments had become out of balance with the time I need for my own work, creativity, and play as I move more fully into semi-retirement.

After many years of deeply caring for and supporting multiple organizations, I am stepping back from most of these roles. This decision comes from honoring my own energy levels and entering a season of greater rest, renewal, and selective mentoring. While I continue to care deeply about the relationships and survival of the organizations involved, I realize that the flow of giving and receiving is significantly out of balance. Restoring that balance requires me to step back with clarity and compassion, which is an act of conscious, compassionate letting go. I'm not stepping away entirely, but I am making more intentional and wise choices about when and how I offer my volunteer time this coming year.

Over the past several months, I’ve been mentoring several holistic practitioners and bodyworkers who are committed to both deepening their skills and building sustainable, values-aligned private practices. This is energizing for me and is also a great way to support students who take some of my classes. Our conversations have centered on building confidence, embodying the principles behind the techniques, and sharing one’s work in a way that feels authentic rather than forced. It’s been a joy to witness practitioners reclaim their voice and trust that their work truly matters. Inspiring and empowering others by passing on my wisdom and experience feels deeply aligned with the work I am meant to be doing.

Out of these mentoring conversations, I’ve created a simple online space that houses all the marketing resources I created and used to build my practice over the years. These tools helped me grow my own practice with ease. This site is available for those who feel called to work with me in this way or want guidance that honors both professionalism and heart-centered work. Send me an email if you want access to this resource library.

One of the resources I’m especially excited to share is a Visioning Activity for Heart-Centered Marketing. This guided reflection helps you reconnect with why you do your work, who you are truly here to serve, and how you want to feel when you share your offerings with the world. It’s a beautiful activity for the start of a new year. It helped guide my decisions for how I wanted to shape my time and energy.

As you move into January, I invite you to sit with these questions:

  • What part of my work is asking for more space, clarity, or care this year?

  • How do I want my practice to feel for myself and for the people I serve?

  •  What would it look like to share my work with more ease and authenticity?

May this season support gentle growth, clear vision, and renewed trust in the work you are here to offer.
